On Sunday 25 October, the Grand Place in Brussels hosted an event to mark the United Nations Day. Every year, all UN Agencies  commemorate the founding of the United Nations in 1945. This year, CIFAL Flanders and the other UN agencies active in Belgium celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Organisation under the slogan “70 years for We the Peoples”.

On the Grand Place adults and children were able to visit a wide range of information stands and enjoy numerous games and activities such as a UN 70 wall of wishes, a dreamcatcher workshop, an insect tapas bar and a grasshopper farm.
