Action Learning Seminar on Integrity and Trust: the Edelman Trust Barometer

On the same day as the CIFAL Pre-launch, CIFAL Flanders welcomed Mr. James Turner, European Chief Operating Officer for Edelman Berland, the research and strategy arm of Edelman, the world’s largest PR firm.

James Turner presented the Edelman Trust Barometer, a global study that allows for an assessment of trust around the world and over time, and compares trust in different institutions (government, media, business and NGOs) and across industries.

The presentation of the Edelman Trust Barometer was followed by a Q&A session with a panel of disputants from NGOs, businesses, media and governments, who had the chance to put forward their comments and suggestions
