On May 7, CIFAL Flanders gave an SDG Workshop at NGO Federation, which is the Flemish federation of NGOs for development cooperation. Our managing director, Peter Wollaert, started with an introduction on the Agenda 2030, explaining the basics of the Agenda and pointing out the opportunities and weaknesses of the Agenda with a focus on environmental issues. Afterwards, the members started with the CIFAL Flanders action learning methodology to strengthen their sustainability strategy by using the SDGs.

• Content: lecture and training on the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the strategic implementation of the goals in non-profits and NGOs.
• Output: create more insight in the content of and how to start with the SDGs in NGOs, with a focus on environmental issues.
