Action Learning Day at the Port of Antwerp

CIFAL Flanders hosted, in partnership with the Antwerp Port Tours, the Port of Antwerp and the University of Antwerp, an action learning day at the Port of Antwerp. 30 students International Business Administration from the University of Antwerp participated in this event to learn about Agenda 2030 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

With the tour the international students reflected on the implementation of the 5 P’s (People, Peace, Planet, Partnership, Prosperity) at the Port of Antwerp.

With a visit at High 5 Recycling, an innovative glass recycling plant in the Port of Antwerp, the students got the chance to discuss the implementation of Agenda 2030 and the SDGs at the company. The action learning day ended with a stop at port village of Lillo where the participants focused on the connection between nature and the Port of Antwerp.
