Learning Objective
Provide a better image about the framework of Agenda 2030 and the SDGs and what it can mean in your organisation, work or life.

Context
The international framework of the SDG’s is offering an additional impetus for sustainability policies. How are the 17 SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) linked with the concept of sustainable development?

The overarching questions

  1. Why should we opt for sustainable development and in this way for the SDG’s?
  2. How can local authorities stimulate the private sector to contribute to their sustainability policies? What measures from its local authority does the private sector need to commit to sustainability?
  3. How to link environmental and health action with education and other topics of the Sustainable Development Goals?
