UNITAR released the 2024 CIFAL Global Network Training Catalogue. This catalogue outlines the upcoming training opportunities available through CIFAL Flanders and its global partners, focusing on capacity development in important thematic areas like sustainable urbanisation, economic development, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability.

With 31 CIFAL centres spread across continents including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean, UNITAR’s Decentralized Cooperation Programme continues to make significant contributions to local development.

The training programmes are designed to enhance human capacities, enabling participants to effectively tackle development challenges and foster City-to-City (C2C) partnerships. The CIFAL network serves as a vital platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange on key developmental issues, promoting networking, collaboration, and the exchange of best practices. The primary audience for these programmes includes government officials from developing countries, along with academics, NGOs, community-based organisations, private sector representatives, and international organisations, all of whom are instrumental in driving strategic development initiatives.

This catalogue is a gateway to numerous developmental opportunities, aiming to equip stakeholders across the globe with the skills and knowledge needed to enact meaningful change in their communities.
