Ruti Group is a social enterprise that aims to advance the achievement of the SDGs through its investments in the Central and Eastern African region. During the working visit in 2023, Ruti Group received the SDG Pioneer certificate. This was followed by a visit to Ecole Du Bon Berger, the first venture of Ruti Group. Bert Versmessen, Ambassador of Belgium to Rwanda, was present during the ceremony and visit to the school.

From the 28th to the 30th of March 2023, the University of Rwanda and Leaders in Teaching organised the first international conference on “Reshaping education for sustainable development” in collaboration with the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) in Kigali, Rwanda.
