Background

CIFAL Flanders is a founding partner of SDSN Belgium and part of their Network. SDSN operates under the UN Secretary-General to mobilise universities, think tanks, and laboratories to achieve the SDGs and the Paris Agreement. It empowers societies through free online education and translates scientific evidence into practical solutions.

SDSN operates at the nexus of science, policy, and development practice. By partnering with UN agencies, multilateral financial institutions, the private sector, governments, academia, and civil society, it promotes pathways for SDG implementation, advocates independent monitoring and accountability, and drives peer learning to share best practices and solutions.
